Camping

Just a quick note....

We camped Sunday night at Lake Louise State Park in Minnesota.  We had to pay way too much for a site and vehicle permits because we had gotten there so late and didn't have another option.  The lake, more like a pond, left a lot to be desired for swimming or even beauty.  The one positive was really nice hot showers.

Last night was our second night camping.  We stayed in Savannah State Forest near Hay Lake.  The ride in from Minneapolis was a bit chilly but beautiful as we entered the pine forests of the North. Again, we got to the site a bit late but soon had a fire going and a supper of spaghetti cooking.  After breakfast of eggs, donuts, and coffee, we headed west to Bemidji, Mn.
